Front element for constructing buildings, of the type intended to form a wall situated outside a building having floors, characterised in that it comprises a structure (28) intended to be fixed to the free edge of the floors and supporting, on the one hand, an underframe (9) comprising a frame (7) in which extends an interior glazing (8) and, on the other hand, a panel (25) intended to form the front of the said building and having an exterior glazing (27) opposite the interior glazing (8), the structure (28) forming a closed space (29) between the interior (8) and exterior (27) glazings. Composant de façade pour la construction de bâtiments du type destiné à former une paroi située à l'extérieur d'un bâtiment présentant des planchers, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend une structure (28) destinée à être fixée au bord libre des planchers et supportant, d'une part, un châssis (9) comportant un cadre (7) dans lequel s'étend un vitrage intérieur (8) et, d'autre part, un panneau (25) destiné à former la façade dudit bâtiment et présentant un vitrage extérieur (27) en regard du vitrage intérieur (8), la structure (28) formant entre les vitrages intérieur (8) et extérieur (27) une capacité fermée (29) et des moyens étant prévus pour créer une circulation de l'air contenu dans la capacité (29).
