[origin: WO8505478A1] A device for counting and sorting coins in a coin collector having a guiding path (8) tangentially connected to a horizontal coin disk (3) must allow foreign coins (11') to come out through an outlet opening (16). To this effect, behind a coin recognition device (14) and directly before the outlet (16) there is movably arranged a deviation element (18) for the coins (11') that have been recognized by the recognition device (14) as being false coins or foreign coins and of which the front edge (35) is spaced apart by at least the width of the guiding stick from the guiding edge (9), the deviation element (18) being controllable by the recognition device (14). The deviation element (18) brought in active position in the displacement path of the coins (11, 11') spaces the coins away from the guiding edge (9) by at least a gap equal to or larger than the width of the guiding stick (17). Thereby, the foreign coins (11') to be taken out may come out through the outlet opening (16). In order to improve its recognition capacity, the coin recognition device (14) is additionally provided with a light guide line stick (31) for the recognition of the diameter, inductive heads (32, 33) for the recognition of the alloy of the coins (11, 11'), respectively for determining the thickness of the coins (11, 11'). Furthermore, other structural elements are provided for the recognition of the string of coins and for the structure of their surfaces.

Une installation pour compter et trier des pièces de monnaie d'un collecteur de pièces de monnaie avec une voie de guidage (8) se raccordant tangentiellement à un disque de pièces de monnaie horizontal (3) doit permettre la sortie des pièces de monnaie étrangères (11') par une ouverture de sortie (16). A cet effet, derrière un dispositif de reconnaissance des pièces de monnaie (14) et directement avant l'ouverture de sortie (16) est placé de manière mobile un élément de déviation (18) pour les pièces de monnaie (11') que le dispositif de reconnaissance (14) a reconnu comme étant des fausses pièces ou des pièces étrangères et dont le bord avant (35) est écarté d'au moins la largeur de la baguette de guidage (17) du bord de guidage (9), l'élément de déviation (18) pouvant être commandé par le dispositif de reconnaissance (14). L'élément de déviation (18) amené en position active dans le parcours de déplacement des pièces (11, 11') écarte les pièces du bord de guidage (9) d'au moins un intervalle égal ou supérieur à la largeur de la baguette de guidage (17). Ainsi, les pièces étrangères à retirer (11') peuvent sortir par l'ouverture de sortie (16). Afin d'améliorer sa capacité de reconnaissance, le dispositif de reconnaissance des pièces de monnaie (14) contient, en plus d'une baguette de fils de guides optiques (31) pour la reconnaissance du diamètre, des têtes inductives (32, 33) pour la reconnaissance de l'alliage des pièces (11, 11'), respectivement pour la détermination de l'épaisseur des pièces (11, 11'). En outre, d'autres éléments structuraux sont installés pour la reconnaissance du cordon des pièces et de la structure de leurs surfaces.
