Abstract (en)

[origin: WO8600655A1] The tensioning rod comprises at least one traction rod member (1) which is tensionable from the upper side of the ground against an abutment (3) member which is longitudinally displaceable in the ground by means of an envelope (5). With said traction rod member (1), a tension rod body (6) is connected to the end which is adjacent to the bottom of the tension rod hole. Said body co-operates at least with one pressure member (1') subjected to a pressure. Said pressure member (1') cooperating with the environing compression body (2) is prolonged as a traction member (1') up to the upper side of the ground with the view of creating a tension against the abutment (3). The tension member (1') co-operating with the compression body (3) is thus subjected on one hand to a pressure and on the other hand to a traction. The foundation pile comprises a pressure member (20') surrounded by a concentric pipe (20) with a closed end (21) adjacent to the bottom of the pile hole, a compression body (2) surrounding the pipe (20) and the pressure member (20') bearing on the end of the closed pipe (21). The upper end of the pipe (20), as for the pressure member (20'), is configured so as to be subjected to a pressure.
