[origin: US4647012A] An injection valve for a mixture-compressing internal combustion engines which is retained in the mounting bore in the suction pipe by way of a sealing ring. In order not to damage the sealing ring during the insertion of the injection valve into the mounting bore of the suction pipe, an axially displaceable sleeve is proposed according to the invention which slides on a cylindrical section of the injection valve. The sleeve includes a conical forward section that surrounds the sealing ring. During the installation of the injection valve, the sleeve is supported at the walls of the suction pipe and guides the sealing ring into the mounting bore without contact with the edges of the mounting bore.

Vorliegende Erfindung beschäftigt sich mit einem Einspritzventil für gemischverdichtende Brennkraftmaschinen, welches über einen Dichtring in der Aufnahmebohrung im Saugrohr gehalten wird. Um den Dichtring beim Einschieben des Einspritzventils in die Aufnahmebohrung des Saugrohres nicht zu beschädigen, wird erfindungsgemäß eine axial verschiebbare Hülse vorgeschlagen, welche auf einem zylindrischen Abschnitt des Einspritzventiles gleitet. Diese Hülse weist einen konischen vorderen Abschnitt auf, der den Dichtring umgibt. Beim Einbau des Einspritzventils stützt sich die Hülse an den Wänden des Saugrohres ab und führt den Dichtring ohne Berührung mit den Kanten der Aufnahmebohrung in diese hinein.
