The telescopic feet (12) of the double ladder which are longitudinally displaceable individually in hollow-section spars (10) have longitudinal slots (16), through which there engages a clamping device (14) extending through mutually opposite walls of the spars. By means of a clamping mechanism which is simple to actuate, the inner walls of the spars are pressed against the outer walls of the telescopic feet. The frictional connection guarantees an absolutely firm fixture. <IMAGE>

Die einzeln in Hohlprofilholmen (10) längs verschiebbaren Teleskopfüße (12) der Stehleiter besitzen Längsschlitze (16) durch die eine sich durch gegenüberliegende Wände der Holme erstreckende Spannvorrichtung (14) hindurch greift. Mittels eines einfach betätigten Spannmechanismus werden die Innenwände der Holme gegen die Außenwände der Teleskopfüße gedrückt. Der Reibungsschluß gewährleistet eine absolut sichere Fixierung.
