[origin: WO8601123A1] A sail mast mounting (10) for use in ski sailing, the mast mounting (1) has an elongated base (18) which extends between the feet of the user, a mast attachment (19) to mount the mast (13) on the base (18) and a pair of elastic elongated members (28) attached to said base and extending therealong so as to be located on opposite sides of the mast attachment (19) and wherein the user's feet are attached to the elastic members (28) so that the user's feet can move relative to the mast.
