Abstract (en)

In order to increase the maximum functioning speed of a stepping motor (1), with which a control circuit (2) is associated, it is equipped with a coil (5), the resistance and the self-inductance of which have values which are lower than the optimum values which they should have in order that the output of this motor has a maximum value when it is supplied by continuous drive pulses of given voltage and of an optimum duration which corresponds to this voltage and to the optimum values of the resistance and of the inductance of the coil. Furthermore, in order to avoid the motor not having this maximum value or roughly this value when the motor functions at low speed, the latter is then controlled by drive impulses of the same voltage and of the same duration as the continuous impulses but chopped. <IMAGE>

Pour augmenter la vitesse maximale de fonctionnement d'un moteur pas à pas (1) auquel est associé un circuit de commande (2), on l'équipe d'une bobine (5) dont la résistance et l'inductance propre ont des valeurs inférieures aux valeurs optimales qu'elles devraient avoir pour que le rendement de ce moteur ait une valeur maximale lorsqu'on l'alimente par des impulsions motrices continues de tension déterminée et d'une durée optimale qui correspond à cette tension et aux valeurs optimales de la résistance et de l'inductance de la bobine. D'autre part, pour éviter que le rendement n'ait plus cette valeur maximale ou à peu près lorsque le moteur fonctionne à faible vitesse, on commande alors ce dernier par des impulsions motrices de même tension et de même durée que les impulsions continues mais hachées.
