A refrigerator or the like, comprising at least one thermostat whose sensor detects the temperature of an evaporator surface, the connection between the sensor and the thermostat being established through a tube which extends up to the evaporator, where it is secured in such away that an inserted sensor detects the surface temperature of said evaporator, characterized by a mounting device comprising a holder which can be connected to a housing (1) and/or the evaporator (3, 4) and which has a seating (15, 16, 17) for partly receiving the tube (6) and two spaced-apart supporting elements (34, 40) having oppositely inclined surfaces (36, 42) for clamping the tube (6).
