[origin: WO8601292A1] A pressure testing and calibrating apparatus comprising: a fluid filled pressure vessel (2) including an observation port and a sealable glass hatch (3); a pump means (9) attached to or integral with said pressure vessel (2) and connected for fluid flow communication therewith, to raise the pressure within said vessel (2) above ambient; a means (12) to release the raised pressure within said vessel (2) prior to unsealing said hatch (3); and a means (13) to accurately ascertain the pressure within said vessel (2). The instrument to be calibrated is paced in the vessel (2).

Dispositif de test et d'étalonnage sous pression comprenant: un récipient sous pression (2) rempli d'un fluide, comprenant un orifice d'observation et un panneau en verre formant une étanchéité (3); un organe de pompe (9) fixé au récipient sous pression (2) ou solidaire de celui-ci et relié à ce dernier de manière à établir une communication d'écoulement de fluide, afin d'augmenter la pression dans le récipient (2) au delà de la pression ambiante; un organe (12) permettant de décharger la pression à l'intérieur du récipient (2) avant l'ouverture du panneau de verre (3); un organe servant à mesurer avec précision la pression dans le récipient (2). L'instrument à étalonner est placé dans ledit récipient (2).
