Der Förderwagen (2) fährt auf Schienen (12), wobei sein Antriebsmotor (24) über Stromschienen (16, 18) mit Fahrstrom versorgt wird. Der Förderwagen (2) enthält einen Behälter (6), der mittels eines Deckels (4) verschließbar ist. Um ein unbefugtes Öffnen des Deckels zu verhindern, ist ein in Verriegelungsstellung vorgespannter Riegel (50) einer Verriegelungsvorrichtung (48) vorhanden. Der Riegel (50) kann mittels einer elektromagnetischen Entriegelungsvorrichtung (74) entriegelt werden. Eine sehr einfache Steuerung der Entriegelungsvorrichtung (74) ergibt sich, wenn an den zum Entriegeln bestimmten Stellen der Förderanlage jeweils ein Entriegelungsgeber (86) vorhanden ist, der mit dem Förderwagen (2) verbindbar ist. um der Entriegelungsvorrichtung (74) einen Entriegelungsstrom einzuspeisen.
