Abstract (en)
The heartwood parts (2) are perforated by making a plurality of perforations (1) of small diameter, for example between 1 and 5 mm, in particular along a path inclined relative to the longitudinal plane of the part. The method prepares the wood for its impregnation at heart. It applies in particular to wood for constructing industrial cooling towers. <IMAGE>

On pertore les pièces de bois (2) à coeur en pratiquant une multitude de perforations (1) de faible diamètre par exemple entre 1 et 5 mm, notamment selon une trajectoire oblique par rapport au plan longitudinal de la pièce. Le procédé prépare le bois en vue de son imprégnation à coeur. Il s'applique notamment au bois de construction des tours de réfrigération industrielles.
