A sleeve for centering flue pipe members (4) which are to be fitted with their end faces one upon the other, of multi-section fabricated flues, comprising support tongues (2) which project inwardly from the inside wall surface perpendicularly to the longitudinal axis of the sleeve, for supporting the sleeve on the upper end face of a flue pipe member (4), and portions (3, 3') of the sleeve, which project inwardly inclinedly towards the support tongues and which bear against the outside wall surface of the flue pipe members (4), in a condition of resilient deformation, characterized in that the inwardly projecting portions of the sleeve are spring blades which respectively project from a location disposed at a spacing from the end of the sleeve and extend at least into the vicinity of the plane in which the support tongues (2) lie.
