[origin: EP0191702A1] The invention relates to a drawing board of the type comprising a stationary portion (10) which supports, in rotation, a movable portion (14, 18) on the surface of which the document to be worked on is fixed. This assembly of a stationary portion and a movable portion takes the place of a drawing apparatus, for example combined with a so-called "parallel-movement" ruler or a ruler of a drawing apparatus. According to the invention, the rotating portion is driven by an electric motor (30) via gearings (24, 26), the signals applied to the said motor being created from angular data introduced by the user into the system by means of a keyboard, in such a way that the desired rotations of the rotating portion are carried out. There is also a locking mechanism (44, 46) which, combined with an initialising button, makes it possible to define an angular reference position of the movable portion.
