Um Werkzeugköpfe (11), deren Gegenkupplungsstücke (21) nicht mit dem Kupplungsstück (15) eines Stieles zusammenpassen, dennoch mit einem solchen Stiel verbinden zu können, wird an den Stiel (12) ein Adapter (22) angesetzt, dessen Gegenkupplungsstück (24) mit dem Kupplungsstück (15) des Stieles (12) zusammenpaßt. Der Adapter (22) weist an seinem dem Stiel (12) abgewandten Ende ein Kupplungstück (23) auf, das mit dem Kupplungsstück (21) des Werkzeugkopfes (11) zusammenpaßt.
