The foldable rest, in particular a leisure rest, has a multiple-part, possibly plastic-coated metal frame and comprises at least two further rest parts on at least one central rest part (1). If appropriate, one of said two further rest parts, in particular the head part (2) is attached via joints (5, 6) which can be fixed in various positions, the lying surface, which may be constructed with a bearing layer (14), e.g. fabric, foam and covering fabric, being connected to the frame. The central part has feet, in particular two standing bars, in which case the feet (7), which are adjacent to the head part, are arranged at an inclination to the head part and the feet (8), which are adjacent to the foot part, are preferably arranged perpendicular to the flat extension of the central rest part. If appropriate, the foot part likewise has feet (9), in particular a standing bar, which are constructed to be inclined facing away from the central part. Provision is made for the head part (2) to be constructed to taper from the central rest part (1) towards the end region and to be formed essentially with two limbs (11, 12) which merge into one another via a bow-shaped region (13), the foot part (3) preferably being constructed to taper starting from the central rest part (1) towards the foot end. <IMAGE>

Bei einer zusammenklappbaren Liege, insbesondere Sportliege, mit einem mehrteiligen, gegebenenfalls kunststoffbeschichteten Metallrahmen, wobei zumindest an einem Mittelliegeteil (1), zumindest zwei weitere Liegeteile, von denen gegebenenfalls einer, insbesondere der Kopf-Teil (2), über, in verschiedenen Lagen festlegbare Gelenke (5,6) angelenkt ist/sind, wobei die Liegefläche, die gegebenenfalls mit einer tragenden Lage (14), z.B. Gewebe, Schaumstoff und Deckgewebe, aufgebaut ist, mit dem Rahmen verbunden ist, und der Mittelteil Füße, insbesondere zwei Standbogen aufweist, wobei die Füße (7), die dem Kopfteil benachbart sind, zum Kopfteil geneigt, und die Füße (8), die zum Fußteil benachbart sind, vorzugsweise normal zur flächigen Erstreckung des Mittelliegeteiles angeordnet sind, und gegebenenfalls der Fußteil ebenfalls Füße (9), insbesondere einen Standbogen aufweist, die vom Mittelteil wegweisend geneigt ausgebildet sind, ist vorgesehen, daß der Kopfteil (2) vom Mittelliegeteil (1) zum Endbereich hin sich verjüngend ausgebildet ist, und im wesentlichen mit zwei Schenkeln (11, 12) gebildet ist, die über einen bogenförmigen Bereich (13) ineinander übergehen, wobei vorzugsweise der Fußteil (3) vom Mittelliegeteil (1) ausgehend zum Fußende sich verjüngend ausgebildet ist.
