[origin: EP0192039A2] The knife head for a meat-cutting machine comprises a main knife and transverse knives which move together therewith, so that it is possible to cut strips. The transverse knives butt against the main knife near its cutting edge and interact with stays which are arranged on the side of the main knife facing away from the main countercutter.
