Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0192170A2] The inclined lift is subdivided into two sectional lengths which can be folded towards one another, the individual telescopic elements forming guide rails for a load platform or the like movable thereon. The essence of the invention lies in the fact that the swivel joint is arranged between two guide rails of normal length, and the swing-out guide rail can be swung out relative to the non-swivellable guide rail by means of a hydraulic thrust-piston mechanism and allocated guide links in such a way that the swing-out guide rail can be swivelled from a stowed position in which it lies parallel to the non-swivellable guide rail into a position of use in which, for example, it bears on the roof of a building. <IMAGE>
