[origin: EP0192224A2] The heater for a heating fluid for a building central heating system is characterised in that there are arranged in a container (1), which is at least partially filled with a heat-transfer fluid, one or more electrical heating elements (9) surrounded by the heat-transfer fluid, and at least one pipe (6) which can be flowed through by the heating fluid, is likewise surrounded by the heat-transfer fluid and the return run and forward run connection pipes (7 and 8 respectively) of which are conducted through the container wall to the outside.
