[origin: EP0192234A2] Fractionated mineral aggregates, hydraulic binders and, if appropriate, polymeric additives are mixed with mixing water to give concrete and/or mortars, preferably for use in mobile mixer units, the pre-metered aggregates and the binder as well as the pre-metered mixing water being introduced, if appropriate together with polymeric additives, by means of a conveyor belt into the interior of the mixer device and, after mixing, the mixed material being discharged through an orifice of the mixer trough. The charging and discharge take place continuously, the throughput rate per minute is between 40 % and 400 %, preferably between 80 % and 200 %, of the average quantity filled into the mixer and, in addition to the known mixing by means of moving mixing arms or other activators, the mixer content is excited by one or more vibrators located close to the bottom.
