[origin: EP0192278A2] In a window cleaner having a strip-shaped support, a cleaning part fixed thereto and a handle attached at an angle to the support strip, the support strip is mounted rotatably on the handle, the axis of rotation running approximately parallel to the plane of extension and approximately perpendicular to the direction of extension of the support strip or the cleaning part. Due to this construction, the cleaning part can assume any desired position relative to the handle and can also maintain it when it has been placed on the window to be cleaned.
