[origin: EP0193009A2] A reclaimer for utilising the flue gas heat in ovens, stoves and/or fireplaces in homes is described. In this connection, the reclaimer has an air inlet chamber (1), a blower, an air outlet chamber (3) and at least one heat exchange pipe (4) which connects the air inlet chamber to the air outlet chamber and which serves to carry out a heat exchange between the cold air flowing in this pipe and the hot flue gases of the firing. Another embodiment has a blower for the introduction of cold air into an air flow pipe (3') which has an air inlet opening (5') and an air outlet opening (6') and extends at least partially over the length of a flue gas pipe (2') and surrounds the latter at a distance. By means of contact of the cold air flowing in the air flow pipe with the hot external surface of the flue gas pipe, there is consequently a heat exchange between the flue gas and the cold air. <IMAGE>
