[origin: ES8705533A1] A process for treating continuous elements or wires made of electrically conductive materials, wherein said elements are passed through a liquid treatment bath. It is characterized by the fact that, before immersing them in said bath, said elements or wires are heated up to a temperature by supplying electric current through a contact bath upstream said treatment bath. A preliminary bath is preferably provided and the contact bath is brought to a high voltage with respect to both the treatment bath and the preliminary bath. Regulation of the temperature of the each individual element entering the treatment bath may be performing by controlling the current intensity so as to maintain constant the electric resistance of the element there.

L'invention concerne un procédé de traitement de profils (2) en matériaux conducteurs de l'électricité, suivant lequel on fait défiler lesdits profils (2) à travers un bain de traitement (4) constitué de métal liquide, et plus particulièrement de zinc. Préalablement à leur immersion dans ledit bain (4), lesdits profils (2) sont chauffés par effet Joule par alimentation électrique au niveau d'un bain de contact (8) situé en amont du bain de traitement. Un bain preliminaire (6) est de préférence prévu et le bain de contact (8) est porté à un potentiel élevé par rapport au bain de traitement (4) et au bain préliminaire (6) qui sont à la masse électrique. On assure la régulation de la température de chaque profil (2) individuel à l'entrée du bain de traitement (4) en agissant sur l'intensité du courant, de manière à maintenir constante la résistance électrique du profil (2) à cet endroit.
