[origin: US4668926A] The apparatus of the invention comprises a case housing a fixed contact and a mobile contact carried by a pivoting lever, with resilient return to the closure position, a rocking lever adapted for acting on the pivoting lever in the opening direction in response to an electric fault and a manual control member connected to the pivoting lever. A single spring exerts on the pivoting lever a first torque in the closure direction and on a drive piece blockable by the rocking lever a force adapted to generate on the lever a second torque antagonistic to and greater than the first one. With the manual control member a third torque antagonistic to and greater than the first one is exerted on the pivoting lever.

L'appareil selon l'invention comprend un boîtier (11) logeant un contact fixe (12) et un contact mobile (13) porté par un levier pivotant (15), avec rappel élastique à la fermeture, un déclencheur (19) apte à agir sur le levier (15) dans le sens d'ouverture en réponse à un défaut électrique, et un organe manuel de commande (22) relié au levier (15). Un ressort unique (R) exerce sur le levier (15) un premier couple dans le sens de fermeture, et sur une pièce d'entraînement (21) blocable par le déclencheur (19), un effort apte à engendrer sur le levier (15) un deuxième couple antagoniste au premier et supérieur à celui-ci. L'organe (22) permet de produire sur le levier (15) un troisième couple antagoniste au premier et supérieur à celui-ci. L'invention permet notamment d'obtenir, par la commande manuelle, un sectionnement entraînant une grande amplitude d'ouverture du contact mobile par rapport au contact fixe.
