[origin: EP0193496A2] The container is provided with a screw-on lid (2) and two further lids (6 and 7) so that the liquid cannot escape in the case of the container (1) being inadvertently tipped over. The lids (6, 7) are provided with holes (8) for inserting the fingers (5). The holes can be closed using plugs when the container is not in use. The screw-on lid is provided on the circumference with an upwardly tapering, wedge-shaped groove, in which a wedge-shaped projection engages positively at the upper edge of the vessel. This type of closure guarantees a permanent, gas-tight closure. Before the container is first used, at least one of the lids (6, 7) is provided in the centre with a hermetically sealing, tear-off closure so that the liquid contained cannot evaporate. <IMAGE>
