In a method for round-cornering plane, rectangular, narrow panes (2) made of brittle material such as glass or glass ceramic, the panes are first of all moved on a wide conveying belt (1) by means of a slide (3) into a first position (A) offset to the outside relative to the centre line of the conveying belt and are then guided in a clamped manner. The external corners are then rounded (B) by means of a grinding wheel (6). After the clamping is removed, the panes are moved to the other side into an offset position (C) relative to the centre line of the conveying belt (1) and the two remaining corners are rounded (D) by means of a further grinding wheel (10). To support the panes, one narrow auxiliary conveying belt (5, 9) each is guided on each side of the conveying belt (Fig. 1). <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Bei einem Verfahren zum Eckenstoßen von planen, rechteckigen, schmalen Scheiben (2) aus sprödem Material wie Glas oder Glaskeramik, werden die Scheiben auf einem breiten Transportriemen (1) mittels eines Schiebers (3) zunächst in eine erste, bezüglich der Mittellinie des Transportriemens nach außen versetzte Position (A) gebracht und dann geklemmt geführt. Danach werden die außenliegenden Ecken mittels einer Schleifscheibe (6) gestoßen (B). Nach Wegnahme der Klemmung werden die Scheiben bezüglich der Mittellinie des Transportriemens (1) nach der anderen Seite versetzt positioniert (C), und mittels einer weiteren Schleifscheibe (10) werden die beiden übrigen Ecken gestoßen (D). Zur Abstützung der Scheiben wird auf jeder Seite des Transportriemens je ein schmaler Hilfstransportriemen (5,9) geführt.
