Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0193877A2] The tubular bag (B) has a first longitudinal seam (12) which extends starting from the bottom seam (10) over only one part of the bag length. A second longitudinal seam (13) extends from the bottom seam (10) to the top seam which closes the bag (B) tightly and extends along the edges of the edge strips (17, 18) which project from the first longitudinal seam (12). When the upper bag end has been cut off just below the top seam (11), the bag region above the first longitudinal seam (12) can be pulled far apart and thus inverted over the upper edge of the outside carton (U) or the upper edge of the upright closure tabs (5 to 8) of the outside carton (U). It is thus avoided that, when emptying the contents (F), foreign particles (32), which are situated between the bag (B) and the inside walls of the outside carton (U), fall into the contents (F). <IMAGE>
