Abstract (en)
The crash helmet has an outer shell and an adapted shell part, which overlaps the chin area of the wearer and is made of hard materials, and padding arranged on the insides of the shell and the shell part and a chin strap which is connected to the shell. For immediate removal without risk of the crash helmet from the wearer's head after a fall, the shell part (4) and the padding (6) arranged thereon are attached to the shell (1) so as to be removable, the chin strap (8) is formed by a first portion (8') made of elastically resilient material and a second portion (8") made of non-resilient material. The two portions (8', 8") are fixedly connected by one end to one side of the shell (1) by means of a common clamping means (10) and are fixed to one another by the other ends with formation of a freely displaceable connection point (12). The second portion (8") is constructed so as to be fixable on the shell (1) on the opposite side of the attachment point, which is fixed to the shell, by means of a releasable closure member (14). <IMAGE>

Bei einem Sturzhelm, insbesondere Motorradhelm, mit einer äußeren Kalotte und einem über die Kinnpartie des Trägers greifenden angepaßten Kalottenteil aus harten Werkstoffen und an den Innenseiten von Kalotte und Kalottenteil angeordneten Polsterungen sowie einem mit der Kalotte verbundenen Kinngurt sind zur gefahrlosen und schnellen Entfernung des Sturzhelms vom Kopf des Trägers nach einem Sturz, der Kalottenteil (4) und die an diesem angeordnete Polsterung (6) abnehmbar an der Kalotte (1) befestigt, der Kinngurt (8) durch einen ersten Abschnitt (8') aus elastisch nachgiebigem Werkstoff und einem zweiten Abschnitt (8") aus unnachgiebigem Werkstoff gebildet, die beiden Abschnitte (8', 8") mit einem Ende durch ein gemeinsames Klemmittel (10) mit einer Seite der Kalotte (1) fest verbunden und mit den anderen Enden unter Bildung einer frei verschieblichen Verbindungsstelle (12) aneinander festgelegt und der zweite Abschnitt (8") auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite der kalottenfesten Befestigungsstelle mittels eines freigebbaren Verschlußgliedes (14) an der Kalo? fixierbar ausgebildet.
