[origin: US4718604A] The invention describes a clamp for rails that is produced from resilient steel bar with multiple bends. The first section (11) of the rail clamp (9, 10) is essentially horizontally arranged, while the last section (14) rests on the rail flange (5). The second section (12) curves upwards in the vertical plane that passes through the first section (11). The remaining sections of the clamp lie all on the side of the first section that faces the rail. The fastening arrangement comprises an anchoring part (20) where the supporting surface (23) for a supporting section of the clamp (9, 10) is located essentially vertically above the locating hole (24) of the clamp (9, 10). That produces a relatively short clamp requiring a minimum of material.

Die Erfindung beschreibt eine Befestigungsklammer für Eisenbahnschienen, die aus einem elastischen, mehrfach gebogenen Stahlstab geformt ist. Der erste Abschnitt (11) der Befestigungsklammer (9 bzw. 10) ist im wesentlichen horizontal ausgerichtet, während der letzte Abschnitt (14) am Schienenflansch (5) abgestützt ist. Der zweite Abschnitt (12) ist in der durch den ersten Abschnitt (11) verlaufenden Vertikalebene nach oben gekrümmt. Die weiteren Abschnitte der Klammer liegen alle auf der der Schiene zugekehrten Seite des ersten Abschnittes. Die Befestigungsanordnung umfaßt ein Verankerungsteil (20), bei der die Abstützfläche (23) für einen Abstützabschnitt der Klammer (9, 10) sich im wesentlichen vertikal oberhalb der Aufnahmebohrung (24) der Klammer (9, 10) befindet. Dadurch wird eine verhältnismäßig kurze Klammer geschaffen, so daß möglichst wenig Material eingesetzt werden muß.
