Base for mounting a ventilation unit on a roof, which consists of a lower box-shaped part (1) and of an upper box-shaped part (2), the lower part having means for fastening to the roof, and the upper part having a connecting surface (4) for the ventilation unit. The two parts (1, 2) differ only slightly from one another in their circumferential dimensions and are so connected to one another in an articulated manner along one of their common sides that, in the mounting position on a sloping roof, the upper part (2) can be pivoted about an essentially horizontal axis of rotation (3) into a position with a horizontal connecting surface (4) and can be fixed therein. <IMAGE>

Sockel zur Montage eines Lüftungsgeräts auf einem Dach, welcher aus einem unteren kastenförmigen Teil (1) und einem oberen kastenförmigen Teil (2) besteht, wobei das untere Teil Mittel zur Befestigung am Dach hat und das obere Teil eine Anschlußfläche (4) für das Lüftungsgerät hat. Die beiden Teile (1,2) unterscheiden sich in ihren Umfangsabmessungen nur geringfügig voneinander und die beiden Teile (1,2) sind längs einer ihrer gemeinsamen Seiten derart gelenkig miteinander verbunden sind, daß in Montagestellung auf einem schrägen Dach das obere Teil (2) um eine im wesentlichen horizontalen Drehachse (3) in eine Lage mit waagerechter Anschlußfläche (4) geschwenkt und in dieser fixiert werden kann.
