Dusch- und Badekabinen mit einer verschließbaren Zutrittsöffnung, mit einer Wanne (10) und mit einem oder mehreren, oberhalb der Wanne angeordneten Brauseköpfen (21-23) sind, damit diese auch für die Ganzkörpermassage einsetzbar sind, mit Auflager (37, 40) versehen, die oberhalb der Wanne und unterhalb der Brauseköpfe angeordnet sind und einen den Querschnitt der Kabine ganz oder teilweise überdeckenden Rost (38) aufweisen. In der Höhe des Rostes (38) ist in einer Seitenwand (5) der Kabine (1) eine Öffnung (6) angebracht. Des weiteren ist eine Umwälzpumpe (17) vorgesehen, die das in der Wanne gesammelte Wasser wieder unter Druck den Brauseköpfen (21 - 23) zuführt.
