A continuous metal casting device, particularly for cast steel strands, with a guide frame following the continuous casting mould in the casting direction, which frame consists of individual segments, each segment having one upper and one lower support frame, several support roller being mounted on each support frame so as to pivot and at least individual support rollers being driven and opposing support frames being adjustable to a support roller distance corresponding to the thickness of the cast strand by means of hydraulic main displacement drives, provided in pairs and connecting lower and upper frames, which can be doubly acted on, to which secondary adjustment drives with the ability to be adjusted mechanically for fine adjustment are allocated, the thickness distance being able to be fixed by means of stops arranged on the guide frame, characterised in that the contact force on the stops (11) can be regulated on the one hand by the hydraulic main displacement drive (9), and on the other hand by the secondary adjustment drive (10) mounted on one of the support frames (5a, 5b), the support means (17) of which rest against the stops (11) in all thickness adjustments and with the support means (17) of which the thickness distance (8) can be finely adjusted in both positioning directions (18a and 18b).
