[origin: EP0194968A2] The plug, which consists of a sleeve (10) with a rotatably retained screw cap (12) and with an inner contact part (31), has an internal thread (17) on the rear end of the sleeve (19). A gripping sleeve (20) is provided internally with circumferential ribs (22) and can be expanded by means of an axial slot (23) and a radial slot (24). In this way, the coaxial conductor can be pushed into the gripping sleeve (20) in a controlled manner before the latter is screwed into the sleeve (10). For installation, no special tools are required other than the normal spanners for hexagonal nuts or screws. Furthermore, the production of the individual parts is very simple. <IMAGE>
