Abstract (en)
59 A swimming pool chemical tablet (12) and storage container (11), is provided for use in a skimmer (32) of a forced circulation flow system, the swimming pool chemical tablet (12) having a radial sidewall contact surface (28) which contacts the frusto- conoidally shaped sidewall (18) of the container (11) at a location at least equal to one-half the predetermined height of the tablet (12) to form a tablet-sidewall flow space (30) above the sidewall contact surface to control the rate of dissolution of the tablet (12) when water is circulated in the forced circulation flow system.
