An anti-flood valve, in particular for sewage containing faeces, with an annular seat and a closing component that can be applied to the seat, which closing component has a rigid base component and at least one sealing element attached to the base component, the base component and the sealing element being a hollow body (15, 15') closed on all sides which has in the outer edge zone a surrounding wall (17) made of soft rubber or a synthetic material, which wall is deformable as the closing component (13, 13') is being applied to the seat (4), characterized in that the hollow body (15, 15') has the outer contour of a cone frustum whose outer diameters of the base and of the top are respectively slightly smaller than the largest and the smallest inner diameters of the tapered seating (8a), and in that the seat (4) has an inwardly projecting shoulder (9) against which the hollow body (15, 15') can be applied with the edge (28) of its upper side (18).
