The apparatus, which has a horizontal axis, comprises, arranged parallel to its axis and symmetrically in relation to its longitudinal plane of symmetry: a) in its lower part, separator members (6, 7, 8, 9) eliminating the water b) in its upper part, bundles of superheating tubes (17, 20), in which steam superheated under pressure is cooled, then condensed in heat exchange with the steam to be superheated. It comprises from the top to the bottom of its part (12), forming a heat exchanger, and in series on the trajectory of the steam under pressure, a first bundle (17) of straight tubes for cooling this steam to its saturation temperature, then a bundle (20, 28) of U-shaped tubes, in which this steam is condensed. <IMAGE>

Dispositif de séchage et de surchauffe de vapeur, d'axe horizontal, comportant, disposés parallèlemant à son axe et symétriquement par rapport à son plan de symétrie longitudinal: a) dans sa partie inférieure, des organes séparateurs (6, 7, 8, 9) éliminant l'eau b) dans sa partie supérieure, des faisceaux de tubes surchauffeurs (17, 20), dans lesquels de la vapeur surchauffée sous pression est refroidie, puis condensée en échange de chaleur avec la vapeur à surchauffer. Il comprend du haut vers le bas de sa partie (12) formant échangeur de chaleur, et en série sur le trajet de la vapeur sous pression, un premier faisceau (17) à tubes droits de refroidissement de cette vapeur à sa température de saturation, puis un faisceau (20, 28) de tubes en U dans lesquels cette vapeur est condensée.
