Prefabricated fitting for connecting power cables to electrical installations and suchlike having an insulating body (10) of elastic plastic, which can be used without a metallic housing. The said insulating body (10) has a radial enlargement in the region of the installation-side connection, with a shoulder (14). Two preferably metallic half rings (20, 21) enclose the surrounding surface of the enlargement. The half rings (20, 21) have a flange (22), located at the top on the shoulder (14) and projecting inwards, with an annular surrounding elevated outer edge (24), behind which engage claws or suchlike (36) of a multi-functional mounting device (30) which can be connected to the installation. The elevations (26) provided on the two edge regions of the half rings thus correspond with matching depressions (34) in the mounting device (30) to form a ring closure. <IMAGE>

Vorgefertigte Garnitur zum Anschluß von Starkstromkabeln an elektrische Anlagen und dgl. mit einem ohne metallisches Gehäuse einsetzbaren Isolierkörper (10) aus elastischem Kunststoff. Dieser weist im Bereich des anlageseitigen Anschlusses eine radiale Erweiterung auf mit einer Schulter (14). Zwei vorzugsweise metallene Halbringe (20, 21) umschließen die Mantelfläche der Erweiterung. Sie besitzen einen oberen auf der Schulter (14) aufliegenden, nach innen stehenden Flansch (22) mit einer ringsumlaufenden erhöhten Außenkante (24), die von Klauen oder dgl. (36) eines mehrfunktionellen, mit der Anlage verbindbaren Befestigungsorganes (30) hintergriffen wird. Die an den beiden Randbereichen der Halbringe vorhandenen Erhöhungen (26) korrespondieren dabei mit entsprechenden Vertiefungen (34) im Befestigungsorgan (30) zwecks Ringschluß.
