It is characterized by the utilization of two counter-balanced levers (2, 21), supported and operated through a crossbar (1) and central hook (6), these in turn operate two panels, or grippers (3, 31), which move towards each other in a tightening action when the hook (6) is raised. Furthermore, there is a locking system for the "open" position, which is operated by a cogwheel (10) fixed to a ring-nut (11) with teeth (12) which can lock into a grooved vertical bar (7).

Un transporteur par serrage pour rouleaux géants de papier et autres produits, ou pour des récipients ayant deux côtés parallèles, se caractérise par le fait qu'il utilise deux leviers contrebalancés (2, 21) soutenus et actionnés par une traverse (1) et par un crochet central (6) qui, à leur tour, actionnent deux panneaux, ou pinces (3, 31) qui se rapprochent en exerçant un effet de serrage lorsque le crochet (6) est soulevé.
