The spiral (12) is wound onto this stable auxiliary frame having longitudinal tubes (20), and the longitudinal rods of the longitudinal reinforcement are then fixed. Es wird ein Verfahren sowie eine Vorrichtung zur Durchführung des Verfahrens zur Herstellung eines Armierungskorbes für Stahlbetonbauteile vorgeschlagen, bei welchem ein Hilfsgerüst (14) verwendet wird. Auf dieses stabile Hilfsgerüst mit Längsrohren (20) wird die Spirale (12) aufgewickelt, und danach die Längsstäbe der Längsbewehrung befestigt. Zur Herausnahme bzw. Entfernung des Hilfsgerüstes (14) wird der Durchmesser des Hilfsgerüstes verkleinert.
