On the actuator body (1), the positioning device has marks which can be scanned by a sensor device (15) which is to be arranged on the output slide (11) and comprises several, offset sensors. The respective position of the piston (3) or output slide (11) can be determined very accurately from the sensor signals by means of interpolation. The positioning device can be arranged in a space-saving manner in a simple construction. <IMAGE>

Die Positioniereinrichtung für kolbenstangenlose Zylinder weist am Zylinderkörper (1) Markierungen auf, welche durch eine Sensoreinrichtung (15), die am Kraftabgabeschlitten (11) anzuordnen ist und mehrere, versetzte Sensoren umfaßt, abtastbar sind. Aus den Sensorsignalen ist mittels Interpolation die jeweilige Position des Kolbens (3) bzw. Kraftabgabeschlittens (11) sehr genau bestimmbar. Die Positioniereinrichtung ist bei einfachem Aufbau raumsparend anzuordnen.
