A facility for storing filamentous material (11) for picking in weaving machines (1) and comprising : an rotation disc (17) carrying the material (11) ; and a jet (41) directed towards the disc and adapted to supply air and material (11), characterised by at least a single yarn clamp (31 - 33) which corotates with the disc (17), is movable against the same, and presses the material (11) theragainst, and by a cover member on the carrier disc which is disposed between the yarn clamp and the carrier disc to hold the material on the disc, the material being stored between the disc and the cover member.
