The invention relates to microcapsules which within a polymer casing contain at least one hydrophobic substance which is solid at room temperature having a melting point of about 40 to 150 DEG C. The microcapsules conforming to the invention are particularly suitable as so-called spacers in recording systems.

Die Erfindung betrifft Mikrokapseln, die in einer Hülle aus einem Polymeren mindestens eine bei Raumtemperatur feste hydrophobe Substanz mit einem Schmelzpunkt von etwa 40 bis 150°C enthalten. Die erfindungsgemäßen Mikrokapseln eignen sich sehr gut als sogenannte Abstandshalter in Aufzeichnungssystemen.
