Abstract (en)
A new process for the production of structured and/or coloured bituminous coverings for roads and paths, parking areas, zones of low traffic volume, airfields, play areas, shopping streets, industrial ground, etc., involves the selective choice of a coarse-grained graded mineral mixture (in addition to bitumen as a binder), between 15 and 50% by weight of the mineral mixture having a diameter of 8 to 16 mm. After the laying and cooling of the mixture material, the surface is pared down to a depth of 60% of the grain diameter of the coarse grain by high-pressure water-jet treatment. The mortar and bitumen are thereby removed and the inherent structure and intrinsic colour of the coarse grain exposed. The coarse grain itself remains anchored in the untreated mixture material located underneath it. Surfaces coloured and structured in any way can be obtained by a choice of the coarse grain (graded mineral mixture). <IMAGE>

Ein neues Verfahren zur Herstellung strukturierter und/oder farbiger bitumenhaltiger Beläge für den Straßen- und Wegebau, für Parkplätze, verkehrsberuhigte Zonen, Flugplätze, Spielplätze, Laden- und Einkaufsstraßen, Industrieböden usw. besteht aus der selektiven Auswahl grobkörnigen, korngestuften Mineralgemischs (neben Bitumen als Bindemittel), wobei zwischen 15 und 50 Gew.-% des Mineralgemischs einen Durchmesser von 8 bis 16 mm aufweisen. Nach dem Verlegen und Erkalten des Mischguts wird die Oberfläche durch Hochdruckwasserstrahlbehandlung (HWSB) bis zu einer Tiefe von 60% des Korndurchmessers des Grobkorns abgetragen. Hierdurch werden Mörtel und Bitumen entfernt und die Eigenstruktur und Eigenfarbe des Grobkorns freigelegt. Das Grobkorn selbst bleibt im darunterliegenden, unbehandelten Mischgut verankert. Durch Auswahl des Grobkorns (korngestuftes Mineralgemisch) können beliebig gefärbte und strukturierte Oberflächen erzielt werden.
