[origin: US4763406A] The invention concerns a wiring tool to be employed in the cutter-terminal technique for wiring multipole electric connectors, contact strips, and similar structures, with a support and a retainer for the connector that accommodates the conductors that are to be connected and with the support capable of being displaced parallel to itself and to the retainer or vice versa, wherein the support and retainer constitute an interchangeable head that adapts to an extremely wide range of applications and that can be mounted on and dismounted from a transmission, characterized in that the transmission consists of a device that is driven by an electric motor.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Beschaltwerkzeug zur Verdrahtung von elektrischen, mehrpoligen Steckverbindern, Steckleisten o. dgl. in Klemmschneidtechnik, mit einem Auflager für den, die anzuschließenden Leitungen aufnehmenden Verbinder und einem Gegenlager für den Verbinder, wobei das Auflager gegenüber dem Gegenhalter parallel zu sich selbst und zum Gegenhalter hin verschiebbar ist oder umgekehrt und Auflager und Gegenhalter einen Wechselkopf bilden, der an die verschiedenen Verarbeitungserfordernisse angepaßt und auswechselbar auf ein Antriebsteil aufzusetzen ist, wobei erfindungsgemäß der Antriebsteil aus einem elektromotorisch angetriebenen Gerät gebildet ist.
