[origin: EP0198479A2] The invention relates to a flat roof tile with a head rebate and side rebate which bring about a multiple overlap during laying, the side rebate having an outer side-rebate rib with a locking lug which is located on the end region of the eaves side and projects beyond the top side of the outer side-rebate rib and which is adjoined in the direction of the eaves side by a sealing face with a short rib piece. The object on which the invention is based is to develop a flat roof tile of the type mentioned initially, to the effect that a substantially larger head clearance is obtained, with the same overlap and approximately the same sealing. This object is achieved, according to the invention, in that, arranged in the head-rebate corner in the region of the corner cut-out, there is a bearing face which, during the covering of the sealing face, is covered above or below in the upper region of the foot-rebate corner cut-out. <IMAGE>
