[origin: US4672344A] A polarized electromagnetic relay has an armature extending through an axial opening in a coil body, a free end of the armature being switchable between two planar pole plates. The pole plates each have pole members disposed opposite one another and each further have top and bottom stop tabs received in spacer members which are a part of a flange of the coil body. Each pole plate with the pole members and stop tabs is stamped in a single cutting from sheet material. By positioning the stop tabs within the spacer members, a precise contact spacing between the two pole plates is insured with a low tolerance during assembly.

Bei einem polarisierten elektromagnetischen Relais ist ein zungenförmiger Anker (5) in einer axialen Durchgangsöffnung (6) eines Spulenkörpers (1) angeordnet, wobei er mit seinem freien Ende (5b) zwischen zwei Polblechen (7, 8) umschaltbar ist. Die beiden Polbleche (7, 8) sind im wesentlichen eben ausgebildet und besitzen einander gegenüberstehende Polstücke (7a, 8a) sowie Anschlaglappen (7c, 7d, 8c, 8d), deren stirnseitige Flächen jeweils in einem einzigen Schnitt ausgeführt sind. Durch Abstandsstücke (4a, 4b) des Spulenkörperflansches (4) wird auf diese Weise toleranzarm der genaue Kontaktabstand zwischen den beiden Polblechen (7, 8) gewährleistet.
