Abstract (en)
In order economically to reheat hot steel stock, the average temperature value of which lies only slightly below the required hot- forming temperature but the edges of which are clearly cooler than the average temperature, to hot-forming temperature, the furnace space of a reheating furnace (2) is divided into at least one reheating zone part (6) and an averaging zone part (7), the burners (38, 46) being arranged at the entrance-side end (45) and the flue gas offtake (48) at the exit-side end (47) in the reheating zone part (6), in order to form a temperature profile (55), with which a maximum temperature is achieved at the entrance-side end (45) and a minimum temperature at the exit-side end (47) of the reheating zone part (6).

Um heißes Stahlgut, dessen Temperaturmittelwert nur wenig unter der gewünschten Warmformgebungstemperatur liegt, dessen Kanten jedoch deutlich kühler sind als die mittlere Temperatur, wirtschaftlich auf Warmformgebungstemperatur nachzuwärmen, ist der Ofenraum eines Nachwärmofens (2) zumindest in einen Nachwärmzonenteil (6) und einen Ausgleichszonenteil (7) zweigeteilt, wobei in dem Nachwärmzonenteil (6) die Brenner (38, 46) beim einlaufseitigen Ende (45) und der Rauchgasabzug (48) beim auslaufseitigen Ende (47) angeordnet sind, um ein Temperaturprofil (55) auszubilden, bei welchem eine höchste Temperatur beim einlaufseitigen Ende (45) und eine tiefste Temperatur beim auslaufseitigen Ende (47) des Nachwärmzonenteiles (6) erreicht ist.
