[origin: EP0198992A1] A pressing plant for the formation of bales of pressed textile materials comprises at least a first pre-pressing group (511-513) associated with means (515-521) for the loading of the material, and a second group of final pressing (503-505) associated with binding means and, possibly, with film or other wrapping means, which are substantially on the same level; a carriage (527-529) picks up, from the first group, the partially pressed material and transfers it to the second group.
