Bei einem Verfahren zum Herstellen einer Steuerscheibe (2) zum gasdichten Einbau in eine Anzeigevorrichtung, deren Steuerleitungen aus einer Cu-Unterschicht und einer Ni-Oberschicht bestehen, wird vorgeschlagen, daß beim galvanischen Abscheiden der Schichten auf die in Abschirmrahmen (1) eingeklemmte Steuerscheibe (2) beim Aufbringen der Ni-Oberschicht eine zusätzliche Abschirmung (3) in den Bereichen vorgenommen wird, in denen die Glaslotnähte zum gasdichten Einbau vorgesehen sind. Das erfindungsgemäße Verfahren wird bei der Herstellung von flachen Plasmabildschirmen angewendet.
