The invention relates to a cassette for storing elongated articles, especially tools such as twist tools or the like, with a parallelepipedal container and an upwardly pivotable cover for the container. In the container for receiving the articles, there is also provided a first pivoting insert which is remote from the cover and which is mounted pivotably about a pivot axis parallel to the pivot axis of the cover and passing through the container and is automatically pivotable upwards upon opening of the cover. There is at least one second pivoting insert for receiving the articles, which is arranged between the cover and the first pivoting insert in the pivoting range of these two and which is mounted pivotably about a pivot axis parallel to the pivot axis of the cover and passing through the container. At least one connecting member is provided between the pivoting inserts and the cover. The connecting member extends through from the cover to the pivoting insert remote from the cover and at the same time passes through all the further pivoting inserts. <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Kassette zur Aufbewahrung länglicher Gegenstände, insbesondere von Werkzeugen wie Spiralbohrern o.dgl., mit einem quaderförmigen Behälter (10) und einem hochschwenkbaren Deckel (20) für den Behälter. Vorgesehen ist weiter ein deckelferner erster Schwenkeinsatz (30) in dem Behälter zur Aufnahme der Gegenstände, der um eine zur Schwenkachse (21) des Deckels parallele und durch den Behälter verlaufende Schwenkachse schwenkbar gelagert und beim Öffnen des Deckels selbstätig hochschwenkbar ist, und mindestens ein zweiter Schwenkeinsatz (40) zur Aufnahme der Gegenstände, der zwischen dem Deckel und dem ersten Schwenkeinsatz im Schwenkbereich beider angeordnet und um eine zur Schwenkachse des Deckels parallele und durch den Behälter verlaufende Schwenkachse schwenkbar gelagert ist, sowie mindestens ein Verbindungsglied zwischen Schwenkeinsätzen und Deckel. Das Verbindungsglied geht vom Deckel zum deckelfernen Schwenkeinsatz durch und passiert dabei alle weiteren Schwenkeinsätze.
