A cover which is secure against touching is achieved in that a rectangular, box-type covering plate (10) can be plugged onto the fuse holder (26), the covering plate (10) having a number of cut-outs (11) corresponding to the number of fuses, which are provided on the lower side of the covering plate (10) with projecting guide webs (12) for holding the threaded sleeves (27), in that the narrow sides of the covering plate (10) are designed on the lower side as plug holders (15, 16) for the insertion of plug-in projections (21, 24) of side plates (20, 23), and in that the side plates (20, 23) are provided with rupture lines (22, 25) for breaking out the insertion openings. <IMAGE>
